Meet Our Keynote Speakers
Keynote speakers for this year’s 4C Virtual Tutor Conference are
Maximilian Veskus and Sparsh Gandhi,
of the Cerullo Learning Assistance Center at Bergen Community College.

Maximillian Venskus
Peer Writing Tutor, Academic Coach

Maximillian is a Peer Writing Tutor, Academic Coach, and Note Taker as well as a former SI Leader. Among the course he tutors are writing, communications, and public speaking. He is currently seeking to attain an Associates degree in History from Bergen Community College and has plans to pursue even higher degrees, focusing on Ancient Roman history and education. He hopes to one day become a college professor, and views his work at the CLAC as central to this goal. He seeks to use his student’s time efficiently and effectively, so that students walk away knowing their tutor sees them as an equal.
Maximillian’s learning support philosophy centers on making sure students feel truly competent so that they can better tackle any challenges that higher education presents them with.
Sparsh Gandhi

Professional Tutor
CRLA Level I Certified Tutor

Sparsh is an educator and technologist pursuing a B.S. in Information Technology at the New Jersey Institute of Technology, where he is a Dean’s List scholar and member of the Albert Dorman Honors College. As a CRLA Level I Certified Tutor and Supplemental Instruction Leader, he has supported students across multiple subjects, including math, computer science, and physics.

Sparsh represented CLAC as a presenter at the 2024 4C Virtual Tutor Conference, where he discussed the ethical use of AI in tutoring, highlighting its value as a supportive tool—always guided and verified by a human tutor. After graduation this fall, Sparsh plans to pursue a career in network security, where he hopes to continue innovating at the intersection of technology and human connection.
